International Nuremberg Principles Academy: No international justice for Syria – National proceedings as an alternative?
Almost daily, the media reports war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Syria where the civilian population suffers most. Who holds, the perpetrators accountable in the absence of international jurisdiction? Who investigates these crimes? What can be done in countries outside the region to end the impunity? These questions will be discussed with experts.

• Klaus Rackwitz, Director Internationale Akademie Nürnberger Prinzipien
• Christian Ritscher, Head of the War Crimes Unit, Federal Prosecutor General's Office in Germany
• Wolfgang Kaleck, Secretary General European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights ECCHR
• Dr.Viviane Dittrich, Deputy Director of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy
